WHO WE ARE
The El Progreso Project (EPP) is a 501c3 non-profit organization that endeavors to provide educational opportunities for underserved youth living in rural El Salvador. First established in 2015, EPP has helped dozens of Salvadoran kids reach their higher education goals by providing partial scholarship opportunities. The foundation’s founder, Ari Borinsky, served in the Peace Corps in the village of El Progreso and lived in the community from 2009-2011. He returns to the village each year to visit with friends and to oversee the organization’s work. All donors and potential donors are welcome to visit the village with Ari during his annual Christmas visits!
